I have used Pacific Design twice...first for my kitchen remodel 2 years ago and this year for my bathroom remodel. They do beautiful work--the cabinets are gorgeous and everything was right the first time. My son, who had recently graduated from a construction course at PCC, installed my kitchen, his first time doing such work, and he had to call the shop many many times to ask advice. They always answered his calls immediately and gave him clear and patient answers, though I'm sure it interrupted their own work schedule. I highly recommend Pacific Design!

We completed a major remodel of our condo working with an interior designer and a general contractor. Our remodel included extensive cabinetry work: a new kitchen with coordinating fireplace surround and shelving/cabinetry in our great room, new bathroom vanities, and build-out of our study with countertops, shelving, and cabinetry. We selected Pacific Design for this part of the project.
Pacific Design started with our interior designer's plans and collaborated with us and our designer effectively to problem solve and create a beautiful and functional plan. When Pacific Design completed its final approved construction drawings accompanied by a written proposal detailing the specifications and cost for each area of the project, we signed a contract.
At this point Pacific Design ordered all materials. We chose walnut for the great room and kitchen cabinetry with some white Italian laminate for upper kitchen cabinets, natural rift oak for the bathroom vanities, and laminate for the study. All our cabinetry has a contemporary flush design, which is a harder look to achieve than traditional cabinetry with trim. As with any major project, there were some hitches along the way. Pacific Design handled them in a professional manner and made all corrections to our satisfaction and the satisfaction of our interior designer. There were no up-charges. We have done several remodeling jobs at former homes and have seen where contractors can cut corners.
Pacific Design uses high quality materials, quality workmanship and the owners are professional and easy to work with. We are very satisfied with the work and we would not hesitate to recommend Pacific Design.
